What this policy covers

This policy explains what happens to your data when you use TidyToolbox, a set of free browser based tools including a photo to PDF converter, an image format converter, a PDF compressor, a PDF to Word converter, a QR code generator, a barcode generator, a video converter, a photo to text tool, a text to handwriting tool, an Excel image downloader, a CV and resume maker, and a signature maker. TidyToolbox is based in Australia.

Your files stay on your device

Every tool on this site runs entirely in your browser. A photo, image, PDF, or video you open in a tool is read and processed on your own device. It is never uploaded to a server and we never see it, store it, or have any way to access it. Close the tab and it is gone.

One exception is worth naming directly: the CV and resume maker saves your draft in your browser's local storage so you do not lose your work if you close the tab by accident. That draft stays on your device the same way, inside your browser, not on a server. Clearing your browser's site data removes it.

Cookies and advertising

This site shows ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites, and to measure ad performance.

• You can read how Google uses data from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
• You can opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings.
• If you are in a region covered by GDPR or a similar regulation, you may be shown a consent choice before ads are personalized.

Analytics

This site does not currently run any analytics or tracking scripts of its own. If that changes, this policy will be updated to say so before it happens, along with what is collected and why.

Information we don't collect

No account, password, or payment information is needed to use any tool on this site. We do not ask for your name, email, or contact details unless you choose to email us directly.

Children's privacy

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated as tools are added or requirements change. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
